Course Certification

 

The Fire Training Certification Program (Fire TCP) applies rigorous standards to its course certification. Courses are certified by fire subject matter experts, who look for the use of best practices in the fire and rescue industry. Below you will find requirements and standards that will be used to evaluate fire training courses, as well as information about the certification process.

Who Decides Course Certification

  • Fire subject matter and instructional design experts are responsible for reviewing training materials
  • ISFSI selects reviewers based on experience, expertise, and level of knowledge
 

What We Need

Submit all of your materials to ISFSI including:
  • Instructor lesson plan
  • Student lesson plan
  • Course bibliography
  • Tests and assessments
  • Letters of recommendation from past participants (within the last 6 months)
