Privacy & Terms

The Fire Training Certification Program (Fire TCP) is a collaborative effort of Envisage Technologies, LLC and the International Society of Fire Service Instructors. Our privacy policy is intended to create a shared understanding about how the Fire TCP protects, shares and uses data generated by each website visitor.

The following applies to all website visitor activity on FireTCP.org:

  1. Fire TCP may collect server logs containing IP addresses, browser types and other web request data regarding website visitors. Moreover, through our contact forms, you may provide us with personal information such as your first and last name, company/department information, e-mail address, and phone number.
  2. By providing Fire TCP with your e-mail address, you consent to receiving periodic messages sent by us or on our behalf.
  3. You may opt out of e-mail messages or request changes to your personal information and preferences by sending a message to [email protected]. We promise that any such requests will be promptly processed.
  4. If results of data analysis are communicated to any third party, your identity and personal information will not be referenced without your express permission.
  5. Vendors and other third-party partners may maintain information about our website visitors under their own data and privacy policies. However, we expect vendors to follow policies that respect confidentiality of our members and grant them control of their own data.
  6. You may not mine Fire TCP for information intended for resale as marketing data or contact lists, unless such tools are built into our software.
  7. Fire TCP makes use of cookies and other techniques to manage visitors’ experience while on the website. This includes visitors who have a “Do Not Track” setting enabled on their browsers.
  8. Fire TCP will make every effort to secure your data from loss and theft but cannot guarantee that our security protocols will never be overcome. Should your information be compromised, we will notify you of the data breach along with recommended actions to take to protect yourself. Such notice will be posted on envisagenow.com, and sent to your e-mail address if you have provided it to us.
  9. If Fire TCP transfers ownership, the existing policies will be honored by the new stewards of the website.

Fire TCP may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If a revision meaningfully alters your rights, we will place a notice at envisagenow.com and e-mail you if you have provided us with such an address. The modified version will be effective upon your next visit to firetrainingcp.wpengine.com or fourteen (14) days after the revisions, whichever happens first.
